GREETINGS

UNIVERSITY CITY OF JENA—A PEARL IN THE SAALE VALLEY
WELCOME TO THE CITY OF SCIENCE
WELCOME TO THE GREEN HEART OF GERMANY

The Jena Center for Reconciliation studies and Satoyama for Peace: Ecosystems for Peace and Reconciliation (S4P: EPR) have designed a process for young researchers focused on creating a tailored program that assists students in building their own research direction and publishing path for the scientific study of reconciliation. This program is available virtually and in person, and will cater to all students as they prepare to travel and conduct research at partner universities. The main goal is to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to grasp the basics of Reconciliation and Conflict Resolution, prepare for academic research and publishing, and provide them with the resources they need to thrive in their new university settings. In collaboration with the research project “Exploring International Reconciliation Studies Based on Universal Values and Collective Memory,” under the leadership of Professor Asano at Waseda University, we are committed to extending a warm invitation to all young researchers dedicated to fostering a more reconciled world.

Warm Greetings,
Professor Dr. Martin Leiner and Dr. Laura Villanueva
