My aim is to be a researcher who can utilize various research methods to understand complex political phenomena. Combining fieldwork, archival research, and statistical analysis, I would like to analyze conflict/reconciliation from diverse perspectives.

Research Theme

Why do ethnonational parties attract citizen support in Bosnia and Herzegovina even after 30 years since the end of the conflict? I examine this question from the perspective of clientelism. I analyze how ethnic parties utilize the distribution of material benefits to attract electoral support, particularly how the allocation of government budget or industrial structure affects the support to ethnonational parties in Bosnian local towns, thereby I aim to reveal the political economy impacts of peacebuilding policies in conflict-affected societies.
