This event was held as part of this year’s Reconciliation Week, organized by the International Education Team of the International Reconciliation Studies Project. Further details about the event can be found here.

On the day, scholars from a wide range of disciplines, including history, international relations, and heritage studies, came together to engage in interdisciplinary discussions. In addition to presentations by six speakers, the session was enriched by the comments and questions of the discussant, Professor Kuroda, which helped to further deepen the key arguments of each presentation and foster a highly substantive intellectual exchange. Beyond the presentation of individual research, the event also facilitated active dialogue on the possibilities and challenges of international reconciliation from cross-disciplinary perspectives.
